Privacy Policy for Lost in the Astral booking and services.

Last updated: January 2026

Lost in the Astral (“LITA”) respects your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our booking platform and services.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide when booking (name, email, phone, address when relevant, payment information via our payment processor), and usage data necessary to operate the service (e.g., session and cookie data).

2. How We Use It

We use your information to fulfill bookings, send confirmations and reminders, process payments, improve our services, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Sharing and Security

We share data only with service providers necessary to run the platform (e.g., hosting, payments, email). We use industry-standard measures to protect your data. Card details are handled by our payment provider and not stored by us.

4. Your Rights

You may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data through your client portal or by contacting us. In the client portal you can request anonymization of your profile and linked data (e.g., under “Privacy & Data”).

The following sections (5 through 13) were drafted by Lost in the Astral as additional protective terms and are pending review by counsel. They take effect alongside Sections 1 through 4 above.

5. Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. Booking records, transaction history, and communications related to your account are typically retained for the longer of (a) the duration of your active relationship with us plus a reasonable post-termination period and (b) the period required by applicable tax, accounting, anti-money-laundering, or other legal obligations. When information is no longer required, we will delete it or anonymize it.

6. AI Training Restrictions

We do not use your personal information to train, fine-tune, or develop any third-party artificial intelligence model, machine learning model, large language model, or generative model without your explicit consent. We also prohibit third parties from using LITA content or services to train or develop such models. Any internal AI features that operate on your personal information do so only to deliver the platform’s services to you, with appropriate safeguards.

7. International Transfers

Lost in the Astral operates from the United States. If you access the platform from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States. By using the platform, you consent to such transfers. Where required by applicable law, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for transfers from regions with cross-border restrictions.

8. State-Specific Rights

Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have additional rights, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to access and delete that information, the right to correct inaccuracies, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell personal information), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. To exercise any state-specific right, contact us using the information in Section 14.

9. Children

The platform is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it. For services involving minors over 13, parental or guardian consent is required as part of the booking process.

10. Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and applicable regulators in accordance with applicable law, without undue delay. Notifications will describe the nature of the incident, the categories of information involved to the extent known, the steps we have taken in response, and recommended actions you can take.

11. Third-Party Processors

We rely on a limited set of trusted third-party processors to operate the platform, including hosting providers, payment processors, email service providers, analytics providers, and customer support tooling. These processors are bound by contractual obligations to protect your information and to use it only for the purposes for which it was disclosed. A current list of categories of processors is available on request.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, communicated to active account holders. Your continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

13. Contact
